Sunday Scribblings

This week’s prompt: Poem

Cori Winrock lives here in Rochester, NY, and teaches at SUNY Geneseo where she serves on the pre-medicine advisory committee and encourages natural science students to write in her course INTD 105: Literature in the Laboratory.

An extract from “Dear Exterior, or the opposite of factory is museum”

An inverse. A bright white déjà vu:
a hand inside a head unraveling the public

memory. Step into the same freezing
corridor brimming with preservation

lines of object and meant-to-be-

seen.

The Lamron, Geneseo’s student newspaper, published this article on Winrock.

Jonathan Everitt interviewed Winrock for his blog in May 2013.
